Zásady zdravé výživy
Kromě základního grafického doporučení lze formulovat několik slovních odporučení, která zdůrazňují hlavní zásady:
- Obilniny jako základ: Základem každodenní stravy jsou výrobky z obilnin (spodní patro pyramidy). Snažte se konzumovat především ty, které mají nízký glykemický index, tedy tmavý chléb a pečivo a těstoviny. Naopak omezte bílé pečivo, sladké pečivo a zejména různé oplatky a sušenky, kde je problematický nejen glykemický index, ale také použitý tuk.
- Co nejvíce zeleniny a ovoce: Snažte se konzumovat co nejvíce zeleniny a ovoce, každý den alespoň 500 g celkem. Ke každému dennímu jídlu jezte porci zeleniny nebo ovoce. To je nejlepší a nejúčinnější zdroj vitamínů a dalších ochranných látek pro dobré zdraví a prevenci nemocí, mnohem účinnější než jakékoliv potravinové doplňky v tabletách či jiné formě.
- Energie jen kolik potřebujete: Přijímejte jen přiměřené množství energie. Přiměřené je takové, při kterém se vaše váha podle hodnoty BMI udržuje v rozmezí 20-25 kg/m2.
- · Maso s mírou – a vhodné druhy: Konzumujte jen uměřeně tzv. červeného masa (vepřové, hovězí, skopové, zvěřina). Uměřeně znamená v průměru méně než jedna porce denně. Naopak jezte pravidelně ryby, několikrát týdně. Místo červeného masa spíše volte drůbež. Velmi omezte konzum salámů, párků a podobných uzenin.
- · Mléčné výrobky také: Pro dobré zdraví jsou důležité rovněž mléčné výrobky. Je vhodné ale vybírat ty s nižším obsahem tuku a zakysané s prospěšnými probiotickými kulturami.
- · Tuky ano, ale velmi záleží jaké: Snažte se uvažovat o zastoupení tuků ve vaší stravě. Důležité není ani tak celkové množství, ale hlavně jejich složení. Převažovat by měly rostlinné oleje (jako součást zeleninových salátů), a tuky obsažené v rybách. Naopak příjem je vhodné velmi omezit u nasycených tuků, které jsou obsaženy v mase a masných výrobcích a ve vysokotučných mléčných výrobcích, rovněž však v některém pečivu. Dejte si pozor na částečně ztužené tuky. Žádejte informaci o jejich obsahu v potravinářských výrobcích. Ani pojem rostlinný tuk na obalu potravin nemusí znamenat nějakou výhodu!
V průběhu dne pijte dostatečné množství tekutin, aspoň 2 litry denně. Vhodné jsou různé druhy čaje (neslazené), neslazené minerálky, neslazené přírodní džusy.
